Program
Step 1
Halfway between mountain biking and road biking, gravel is a discipline that requires constant physical effort that brings out new sensations! And what better way to feel them than in an idyllic setting?
The route extends over 122 km with a positive elevation gain of 2500m. This very sporty and difficult loop is aimed at seasoned practitioners! You will admire torrents and rivers, astonishing geological formations and hilltop villages along your circuit which crosses the valleys of Buëch and offers a great diversity of landscapes.
The first stage of this route crosses the forests and cliffs of the Buëch valley. These first 60 kilometres will not be easy, but they offer you unique viewpoints, particularly over the Riou gorges and the Orpierre cliffs.
Step 2
To regain your strength during your journey, Marie welcomes you to her guest house whose terrace will take your breath away. This breathtaking view of the valley will allow you to enjoy a homemade dinner and breakfast that you will keep a wonderful memory of.
A closed and secure garage for your bikes is of course provided by your hosts.
Step 3
It's time to leave, pick up your picnic and your gravel bike, and let's go for the end of the adventure. This time, the remaining 60 kilometers will leave you with little respite. The Méouge gorges will, however, be a wonderful gift for all the cumulative positive elevation gain.
A break by the river to rest your aching legs and a much more peaceful end to the journey awaits you.
For the brave, an even more sporty variant exists with 166km and 4m of positive elevation gain. So, get training, your thighs will be burning!
