goldstone
With its 8 distinct cliffs and nearly 670 well-equipped lengths of all levels, with a height varying from 30 m to 150 m, all climbing is at Orpierre! From 3c to 8c, between discovery sectors, sports sites, adventure playgrounds and big routes, the very high quality rock and impeccable equipment allow all styles of climbing, with the pretty medieval village as a backdrop.

Sigottier
3 kilometers from Serres, the Sigottier site has always attracted climbers with the charm of the village nestled at the foot of the large limestone cliffs and this small green valley where a torrent bordered by trees and meadows winds.

Châteauneuf-de-Chabre: Red Balm
The cliff dominates the village of Châteauneuf-de-Chabre and marks the entrance (or exit) to the Gorges de la Méouge. The site offers varied climbing on pretty steep or overhanging walls, with ochre and blue-grey limestone. The verticality and the very sculpted limestone of small holds induce very finger-friendly routes!

Sisteron: The Balm
One of the most beautiful sites in the region. Renowned for the variety and multiplicity of its routes, it is a rock school allowing any climber, whatever their level, to make a climb that suits them.

Sisteron: The Collet
Site sheltered from the Mistral and suitable for young children. Small rock bar 25 meters long and 5 to 6 meters high, made up of two parts separated by a weakness in the central part.

Ventavon: Villard cliff
The Ventavon site offers a rocky bar in excellent grey limestone, facing south and very pleasant in winter despite the altitude (1000 m). The cliff dominates the Durance plain. It offers a remarkable viewpoint for whom an approach walk is not an obstacle to a very beautiful climb on a very sculpted limestone. Very varied routes for climbers of all levels.

Savournon: Eagle's Beak
This site is very pleasant for initiation and discovery with some more difficult routes to move up to the next level, all on compact limestone.

Savournon: Rock of Taillefer
Standing in the forest at an altitude of 1100 m, above the Jubéo forester's house, the Roc de Taillefer cliff, with a north-east exposure, offers climbing on a very vertical limestone rock: a beautiful steep wall, sometimes overhanging, where strata, drops of water, hooking holes and formidable flat areas blend together... A very technical, physical cocktail that makes you want to progress and come back to do the lengths.

Barret-sur-Méouge (access possible via Orpierre): Col Saint Ange
Perched on the Chabre ridge, facing south, it is the perfect initiation cliff. 25 routes are spread over an inclined slab, in a beautiful compact gray rock. A difficulty of 4 to 5, in a magnificent landscape!

Ribiers: Impie Stone
This cliff, characterized by a beautiful 100 m spur in the south face, has around fifteen lengths including a beautiful long route offering technical climbing on slabs and cracks on very compact rock.

Ribiers: the Essaillon
This small rocky bar facing North/East allows you to climb in the cool, in summer. Steep or overhanging walls with overhanging starts, very boulders. For good climbers only and beautiful on-sight challenges, on this rock with difficult reading.

Antonaves: Pierre Grosse
Perched above the Méouge, the cliffs of Pierre Grosse are exposed South/East, and offer a very varied climbing. Due to their orientation, they allow climbing all year round except on very hot days.
