Presentation
Discover the old center of the city to the rhythm of the andrônes, the alleys, the fountains, the washhouses, the old doors, the monuments and the little hidden treasures of the heritage of Sisteron. Blue arrow markup.
You will take a maze of streets and unsuspected passages that allow you to discover two peasant districts of medieval times (La Coste and Bourg Reynaud). You will walk through the old town of Sisteron to discover its rich heritage, its andrônes and cutlery which make the link between the different districts, passing under the houses then in front of washhouses, fountains, magnificent 19th century wooden doors... You will enjoy a breathtaking panorama from the banks of the Durance following the Louis-Javel promenade.
