The mild climate, and more than 300 days of sunshine a year allow climbing all year round in the Sisteron-Buëch region; according to the season. Choose the south-facing cliff of Baumerousse, or the proximity of a river for cooling off. Many famous climbing sites are here, Orpierre is a hotspot with its cliffs and its Quiquillon, Sisteron and the rock of Baume, Ribiers, Châteauneuf de Chabre, Ventavon, or Savournon.
