Hiking trail "La Montagne du Risou"
To reach the starting point from Rosans, go toward Serres then take a left at the exit of Moydans on the small road toward Saint André. The start is on the right.
Presentation
A short round trip up to the Risou's summit, which lets you observe the whole area of Rosans. The trail is steep, but the view is worth your while ! A few days per year, light goes through a mountain by a hole in the stones.
At Palluel, the trail starts to the right of a small valley, in an underwood area, the first part is a bit winding.
As soon as you arrive at the first hunter's stop, the trail gets straighter then more rocky.
A short path requires you to climb up a step before reaching the plateau. From there, you can fully take in the landscape, which is worth all the efforts needed to get up.
Arrival at the Saint Jean Chapel. The return trip is by the same road. Take your time to go back down, as it can be as difficult as going up...
